Rodliz’s Nest

Valentine’s Day is a celebration of love and affection between couples and it’s the day we expect to be really romantic. But for some, like my husband, Valentine’s Day is just an ordinary day. He’s not a type of person who will take you out on a date or give you nice presents on that day. But it's okay...i love him and will always love him for what he is and what he is not...

Last year was our first Valentine together as a couple; we didn’t celebrate it as what others do. We both have work that day, after office hours I attended a birthday celebration of a friend at the Twin Tower and when I came home he wasn’t there anymore coz he’s working on a night shift. We have had a fight the day before Valentine’s Day so it’s one of the reason why we didn’t even planned for a dinner date but even if I was so mad at him I still gave him a red heart shape small pillow as a simple presents.

And now again we’re both working on Sunday, he’ll be working on a night shift and maybe he won’t be there again when I go home. So we don’t really have a plan for Valentine’s Day, maybe if he’s working on a dayshift we can join our friend who will be celebrating her birthday together with her soon to be husband and friends on a Dhow Cruise dinner.

But anyway let’s see what I can do....

Ay, kainis naman yan, bakit may work kahit weekend? Di bale, kapag nagkataong pareho kayong day off, date na lang kayo. Actually, lagi naman kayong lumalabas di ba? Minsan di na mahalaga kung may card, regalo or date, basta nagmamahalan, yun ang mahalaga..

hmmm busy pala kayo dalawa but what matters most is you have quality time as a couple. May type of guy lang din kasi na di masyadong fan ng cheeziness.. kaya you can celebrate love anytime, not necessarily on the 14th =) enjoy

Grabe naman yan, parang di na kayo nagkikita ni hubby mo kase magkataliwas ang shift nyo.. pero ok lang yan.. sabi nga nila, celebrate it any day,, before or after, it doesn't matter..
