I have been craving for creamy chicken with brocoli since the wedding of a friend but the problem was that i don't know how to cook it. So then today i manage to look for the recipe online and i'll try to do it this weekend.
Photo was taken at a friends wedding reception in Bavaria Hotel
Here's a simple recipe that i got online...
Easy broccoli chicken with chicken breasts and broccoli, cooked in the slow cooker.
Ingredients:
•1 can Cream of Broccoli Soup
•boneless chicken breasts (as many as you need) - I buy the frozen ones with 6-7 in a bag - approx. 3 pounds
•1 bag frozen broccoli
•salt and pepper
•1 cup milk
Preparation:
Place chicken in the crockpot. Cover with frozen veggies and cream of broccoli soup. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook on LOW 6 to 8 hours or HIGH 3 to 4 hours. (Boneless chicken breasts might be dry if cooked too long.) Add milk about 45 minutes before done, or 30 minutes if cooking on high. Serve poured over rice!!! Yummy! posted by Beverly

It's the peak of summer here in the U.A.E with highs of 48 degrees Celcius....and for a commuters like me i make it sure to always bring my umbrella and bottled water with me.
Way back in the Philippines...summer time means having something that can cool you off and you can find it just anywhere in the streets...like mais con yelo / banana con yelo, gulaman, fruit shakes, ice cream (i love the dirty ice cream than of the branded one), sundaes at Mc Donalds and Jollibee, softdrinks, juice or palamig, or simply cold water and of course Halo halo...
Halo halo (english - mix mix) is a mixture of ingredients. Usually you have it with shaved ice, evaporated milk, gulaman, leche flan, langka or jackfruit, saba , pinipig, mais or corn, nata de coco, cherries and even ice cream. For the ice cream, it’s usually just one scoop but if you’re going for the super special halo – halo, you have to have two or more scoops.
Here in Dubai, Filipino Restaurants usually serves halo halo just like what we had in Golden Pork near Bur Dubai Station.

It has been our habit to dine out even not on special occasions but when we feel like we want a
home cooked filipino meal. Hubby loves beef stew...his all time favorite:) So whenever we have lunch or dinner outside we usually choose a Filipino restaurant so we can order what he loves the most. But when he tasted the grilled hammour fillet of Barrio Fiesta in Burjuman Center he said that we'll come back there once in a month..hehehe
