Merry Christmas to all my bloggers friend! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too.

Well, me and hubby had a wonderful Christmas Eve Celebration. It was the best Christmas night here in Dubai ever... Our friends came to celebrate with us also. We started at 10 pm by blessing the food, followed by raffles, exchange gifts, games, drinks and a night of fun dancing & singing.

The Gents

We maybe miles away from our family but having our flatmates and friends was like we're just with our loveones back home.

Thanks Guys!

Its 19 days before Christmas so I’d like to take this chance to greet and thank each and every one of you who comes and visit Our Lives Together.

Special mention to all Couple's Corner participants especially to Rodliz, to EC droppers, to bloggers, to my flat mates and to all my friends ….our lives may not be perfect but here we are trying to simply handle the difficulties of a married life…and being a part of us you are always welcome to witness our lives together.

The year is just about to end and I am sending New Year and Christmas greetings to all of you. This is a celebrating season and the Lord has been so good to me through out the year. I guess He has been good to you too. I want you and your family to join me in thanking God for his wonderful blessings upon us.... as an individual and as a family. Advance Merry Christmas and a Happy New year!

For most of the Filipino Expats here in Dubai, holidays like yesterday (United Arab Emirates 38th National Day) are the most awaited time but sad to say we only have few holidays here not like in the Philippines.

Having this chance to spend a holiday, we flatmates usually go for a long trip somewhere around U.A.E like last year we spent it at Dreamland Aqua Park, and yesterday we went to Global Village. For more photos of us check out my multiply.

In celebration of Eid al-Adha we had our 3 days off......so here's what we did....

Thursday, 26th Nov. 2009 was just an ordinary rest day....hubby whose working on a night duty slept the whole day while i did all the necessary things to do at home. I was supposed to spend swimming on the afternoon at Mamzar Beach with flatmates but hubby said "No! You stay here!"

Friday, 27th Nov. 2009...hubby slept for 2 hours only.....and then we went to Dubai Zoo as requested by our friends....then from Dubai Zoo we went to Mercato Mall and neighboring shopping center and we went to Jumeirah 1 to take our dinner at Ate Norie's place.

After dinnner we decided to go to disco, hubby and i left ahead of them coz we still have to buy his new shoes for tomorrow's basketball league of their company.

At Kuya's Disco Pub in Nihan Hotel, Deira

Again, it was hubby's first time to go to a Disco here in Dubai. I don't know if he really enjoyed the night since he was already feeling so sleepy as early as 10 pm.

Saturday, 28th Nov. 2009...Pacman -CCL Basketball League at N Sports Al Qouz. We arrived so early at the venue so while waiting we went to nearby warehouse sale of all branded items.

And then the game proper.....there was only 2 teams, White Team (my hubby's team) and Red Team. Only few employees attended the game so i was requested to take the individual score of all the players for white team.....reason why i only had few pictures of hubby.

After the game we went to Al Attar Shopping Center and had our dinner at Agemono Restaurant.

Celebrated Christmas Day afternoon at a friend's manager's house in Al Barsha. It was Ate Norie who invited us to Ate Joy's friend's house to celebrate her bf's birthday and Christmas.

And while we were there i can't help myself not to admire the house especially the egyptian frames, african artifacts, the plants inside and japanesse inspired dining hall.

Wish my future house would have those kinds also.

In celebration of Eid Al Adha and as declared by the government, Dec 7-9, 2008 are holidays for private sector.

So on the second day, we decided to have a picnic at Dubai Creek Park. The same group who went to Dreamland last time but not with Leslie. Well, it was a day of fun. The moment we entered Gate 4, we just look for a better place to put our things and foods then started to have our brunch since we didn't have much time to have our breakfast. After that we took a lot of photos then roamed around the creek till we reach the cable car ticketing office which is actually our purpose in coming there. We learned that it will be opened at around 6pm so we go back to our place and eat again.

Then, Clinton bought a ball and we grouped ourselves into two. At first we played volleyball but since the ball has a very light weight and it was easily carried by the wind so we changed the game. Still group into two, i don't know what's the name of the next game but it goes like these...the first group will stay at the middle and the other group will throw them the ball. The goal is that the ball should touch them all and they will be out. Then change position...............till we get tired. So far on this game everyone enjoyed and felt like we're a child again.

Since everyone was tired, we rest a little and had our food again. While we were eating we saw that the cable car was already operating. So we went to the ticketing office to buy for a ticket but on our dismay the queue was almost 100 meters. What to do? We don't have a choice but to fall in line and wait for about 2 1/2 hours.

Anyway, its worth the wait. The moment the cable car started to move and went up we were all happy to see the whole city of Dubai at night.

Here's our best photo for that day!
